The Art of Show Business is a seminar that helps provide talent and parents a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful in the entertainment business. Taught by industry veteran Greg James Blount, this seminar will cover a range of aspects including how to approach a talent agency, follow up do’s and don’ts, headshots, resume prep and importance, multi-agency representation, talent markets and more.

Gregory James Blount is a Producer and Talent Industry Expert. Gregory is also the Publisher of Peter Glenn Publications, a 62-year old entertainment publishing company that publishes the famous Madison Avenue Handbook and the International Directory of Model & Talent Agencies. Gregory has produced projects for clients such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Universal Studios, MasterCard, CosmoGIRL and ELLEgirl to name a few.
Gregory is also known for discovering actress Amber Heard, who is currently starring in Aquaman. As of 2018, Forbes magazine valued Amber's net worth at $9 million. Gregory has also worked with or discovered such talent as Kira Kosarin (Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans), Jake Short (Disney’s Ant Farm), Cade Sutton (Disney’s Kirby Buckets) and Ryan Newman (The Thundermans, Sharknado, Disney’s Zeke & Luther). Gregory has helped thousands of talent and parents over the years get placed and build a successful career in the modeling & talent industry.
This seminar is great for parents of young talent, teens and adult talent. This workshop will include worksheets, note-taking, and end with a question & answer session to make sure all your questions are addressed.
