DEMO REEL WITH AN IMDB CREDIT

The Tan Man is our next short film in development scheduled to film at the end of the first quarter of 2024. 

Open to actors ages 17+ to adult.  We are now booking a variety of roles for characters from young adults (17-24) for the tanning salon employees, and a few more for cocktail waitresses/bartenders.  Think The Playboy Club 

In addition, we need the dark side of the characters, gamblers, dealers, and backstabbing cheaters and thieves. Think Casino 

Once completed, this short film will be submitted to multiple film festivals in 2024. 

There are multiple options for me to be included in the film ranging from booking one scene, or two scenes or choosing to be one of the leads in the film. 
 
Here is how it works:  We put out to actors a call-to-action for the demo reel master class and as we book roles, our award-winning writers will start to develop your character into the script.  Once the script is finalized, we will move to several table reads before filming.  Production dates and locations will be determined well in advance.  The production will be filmed in South Florida (Travel, hotel, and other expenses are at your expense). 
 
Once you book your spot, you will book a ZOOM meeting with our Director of Talent Development to discuss your participation and character in the film. Filming is tentatively scheduled for late April 2024 in South Florida.
 
 

Title: The Tan Man

Synopsis: Jason, a charismatic New Yorker, appears to be just another successful entrepreneur, owning a chain of bustling tanning salons. However, there’s more to Jason than meets the eye. While the salons are a front for his legitimate business, it is the hidden world behind the back door that truly defines him.
 
In the depths of each salon lies a secret doorway, leading to a clandestine nightlife where high-stakes players gather to unleash their inner demons. This hidden realm attracts a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique set of vices and secrets.
 
Jason, known as “The Tan Man,” is the mastermind behind this underground operation. With his sharp wit and street smarts, he navigates the treacherous world of high-stakes gambling, where fortunes are won and lost with every turn of a card. As the players come and go, Jason's true power lies in his ability to read people, exploiting their weaknesses for his own gain.
 
But as the stakes rise, so do the risks. Vinny finds himself entangled in a web of deceit and danger, as his own past demons threaten to resurface. With the line between his two worlds blurring, Vinny must confront his own inner darkness and make choices that will determine his fate.
