LA Casting Director Mark Tillman
Mark Tillman-Briggle is a member of the Casting Society of America, with over thirty years of experience casting television movies, series, pilots, and independent features. His many television credits include four seasons with ABC’s MacGyver: two years on the PaxNet series Twice in a Lifetime; syndicated network pilots for Highland: the Series and RoboCop: The Series, also contract roles for daytime’s General Hospital: and west coast casting for contract roles on Another World & One Life to Live. Mark’s other television credits are the TriStar and UPN pilot and series As If; MTV sketch comedy series TheAndy Dick Show (two seasons); Blunt (two seasons), and the nighttime MTV serial Undressed (also for two seasons), and the hosts for FX’s DVD on TV.
Mr. Tillman-Briggle’s television movies include such titles as Willing to Kill; The Texas Cheerleader Story with Lesley Ann Warren, Bridge to Silence with Marlee Matlin, and Lee Remick, ABC’s Small Sacrifices with Farrah Fawcett, USA Cable’s The Colony with John Ritter, and HBO’s The Base. Among his mini-series casting is Judith Krantz’s Till We Meet Again starring Cortney Cox-Arquette, Hugh Grant and Charles Shaughnessy; and the horror classic, Stephen King’s; IT. More recently movies sold to Lifetime are; The Perfect Baby, The Bachelor Next Door, and Party Mom.
His awarded independent features have been seen at Slamdance (Festival winner Best Ensemble Cast, Driven), the Aspen Comedy Film Festival (winner The Audience Award, Suckers), Tribecca Film Festival (winner Best HD Film Cross Bronx), Austin Film Festival (winner Best Full-Length Comedy, American Cowslip), Beverly Hills Film Festival (Official Selection, Dear Me, and winner Audience Choice Award, Chicago Massacre: Richard Speck), Los Angeles Method Fest (winner Jury Choice Award Intoxicating), Newport Beach Film Festival (official Selection Waterhole), among many others.
Mr. Tillman-Briggle also had the pleasure of helping launch the careers of such notables as Oscar winners Cuba Gooding, Jr., George Clooney, Hilary Swank, and Patricia Arquette. Also, actors Bryan Cranston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Jay Hernandez, Seth Green, Mariska Hargitay, Kathryn Morris, Carrie-Anne Moss, Brittany Murphy, Christian Slater, Wentworth Miller, Patrick J. Adams, Adam Brody, Max Greenfield, Jerry Ferrara, Chad Michael Murray, and Traci Thoms are all among the numerous actors that have read and been cast through his office on their way up the ladder of success.
