Keren Lydia is a professionally trained triple-threat performer, director, and theatre educator with extensive experience in both the United States and United Kingdom. She earned her Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, one of the world’s leading institutions for performing arts education.
Keren began her career as a professional actress, developing a diverse background in performance before bringing her industry experience and advanced training into theatre education. In recent years, she has directed two theatre arts education programs, provided private instruction at the collegiate level, and directed numerous theatrical productions.
As an educator and acting coach, Keren has helped students prepare for competitive performing arts opportunities, with students gaining acceptance to respected programs including Dreyfoos School of the Arts as well as university BFA Theatre programs.
Keren is passionate about helping young performers identify and overcome the obstacles that can hold them back creatively. Her teaching approach combines strong technical training with encouragement, discipline, and exploration, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, making bold choices, and growing in confidence as performers.
Above all, Keren strives to help each student discover their individual voice, strengthen their craft, and develop the skills needed to succeed both on stage and beyond.
