The Green Room Acting Studio is designed to give actors a clear, professional pathway—without pressure or guesswork.

Most new students begin with our Online Trial Acting Class, a full 90-minute live session that mirrors the exact structure, pace, and expectations of our ongoing training. This is not a “sample” or observation class—you actively participate, work on camera, and experience our teaching methodology firsthand.

The trial class allows you to:

The one-time trial fee is $55 and is non-refundable, as your spot is reserved in a live, working class.

For most actors, the trial class is the smartest first step—giving you clarity, confidence, and real insight before making a longer-term commitment.

Yes. Our online acting classes are ongoing, and tuition is billed on the 1st of every month.

Beginning January 1st, 2026, our programs operate in 8-week semesters, with limited class sizes to ensure individual attention and high-quality training.

You may cancel, but please note:

• Once a semester has begun, students are required to complete the full 8-week semester they are enrolled in.

• This policy is in place because each class has a limited number of seats, and your spot is reserved for the entire cycle.

You are welcome to pause or discontinue after your current semester ends, and we’ll make that transition easy for you.

Except for select workshops and our on-set demo reel master classes in South Florida, all training is conducted online via ZOOM.

The industry has changed significantly since COVID, and most auditions and callbacks now occur virtually. Training online provides actors with access to our highly experienced LA– and NY–based instructors and reflects how work is actually booked today.

We offer online film and television acting classes, audition technique and scene study classes, method acting training (including Meisner, Stanislavski, and Hagen techniques), comedy and acting technique classes, virtual talent agent showcases, and professional online acting classes for kids, teens, and adults—from beginners to serious, career-focused actors.

Yes. The Green Room Acting Studio offers a 7-Week Online Method Acting Techniques Certificate Class for actors ages 15 through adult.

This is a structured, start-to-finish program—our only class with set start and stop dates and the only class held on Sundays. Because of the progressive nature of the work, trial classes are not offered for this program.

The course is designed for actors seeking disciplined, foundational training rooted in Method-based techniques influenced by Meisner, Hagen, and Stanislavski. The focus is on building truthful, repeatable performances specifically for film and television.

Throughout the seven weeks, actors work on:

• Emotional truth and personalization

• Script analysis and character development

• Active listening and moment-to-moment behavior

• Objectives, obstacles, and playable actions

• Applying Method technique directly to on-camera work

Classes are online and interactive, with on-camera coaching and weekly application of the technique. This is not a drop-in class—it is a commitment to process, growth, and consistency.

Upon completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion, reflecting serious Method training and a strong technical foundation.

This program is ideal for actors who are ready to commit to focused study, deepen their craft, and develop a reliable acting process they can carry into auditions and professional work.

Our monthly online acting classes are designed to be affordable, high-quality, and accessible to students nationwide.

• Monthly Tuition:$220 per month
This includes your weekly on-camera acting class, instructor feedback, script preparation guidance, and access to our studio resources.

• Class Length:
Each class meets once per week for 90 minutes.
Classes are structured with warm-ups, instruction, scene work, and live coaching directly with your instructor.

Students grow consistently with this weekly training format, and parents appreciate the predictability and value.

Yes. If you join mid-month, your tuition will be prorated based on the number of classes you will attend for that month.

You only pay for the remaining classes in your first month—nothing more.  Then you will be charged the full tuition of $220 on the next semester on the first of the month after you enrolled.

You will receive an invitation to meet one-on-one with our Director of Talent Development, Greg James Blount.

During this meeting, Greg will:

• Learn about your (or your child’s) goals, experience, and interests

• Help determine the best class placement and training path

• Go over what to expect in class and how to prepare

• Answer any questions about representation, showcases, and long-term career development

This Talent Development session ensures you never feel lost or “just like another student”—you’ll have a clear, personalized roadmap from day one.

The Director of Talent Development plays a central role in each student’s long-term growth, career direction, and overall experience in our studio.

At the Green Room Acting Studio, this position is held by Greg James Blount, who brings 30+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, including his work as the Publisher of Peter Glenn Publications, one of the most respected resources for talent agents and modeling agencies. Over the course of his career, Greg has built long-standing, trusted relationships with:

Every enrolled student** meets with Greg quarterly**, giving each actor dedicated time to review their progress, make adjustments, and continue moving forward with confidence.

Every instructor brings a unique point of view. Veteran actors, casting directors, and coaches from different regions often offer distinctive feedback and techniques. Rotating classes allows you to learn how multiple industry professionals interpret performance—an essential skill for working actors.

Yes. Rotating instructors also strengthens your acting résumé. Much like college coursework, each new class adds a fresh training credit with a recognizable industry professional.

A strong résumé reflects both what you study and who you study with. This is often the first thing casting directors examine when determining whether to bring you in for an audition.

Beginning January 1st, 2026, our online acting classes will follow a clear semester-based structure. Each semester (or “cycle”) lasts 8 weeks, and there are six (6) semesters each year, organized as follows:

Annual Semester Schedule (6 Cycles):

Each 8-week cycle is designed to give students time to build skills, develop a script, receive consistent coaching, and make measurable progress.

Should I stay longer than one 8-week cycle in a class?

Yes, you can choose to remain with the same instructor for more than one cycle.
Many students benefit from spending additional time with an instructor who understands their strengths and goals.

However, to support continuous growth and avoid stagnation, we recommend:
• No more than two consecutive cycles with the same instructor before moving up or exploring a new teaching approach.

Absolutely. One of the most powerful ways our students gain professional representation is through our Virtual Talent Agent Showcases, which we host multiple times a year. These showcases connect our top-performing students directly with industry-leading agents and managers in major markets including Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and Miami.
