Tom Archdeacon is an accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer whose career spans film, television, stage, and independent filmmaking.

Originally from Ireland, Tom began his formal acting training in Europe, where he also worked professionally on stage before moving to New York City. There, he built his career through Off-Broadway theatre and daytime television before relocating to Los Angeles and expanding into film and episodic television.

Over the course of his career, Tom has accumulated nearly 40 acting credits, with television appearances including The Lincoln Lawyer, FBI, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Sleepy Hollow, Devious Maids, Casual, CSI: NY, The Inspectors, and Days of Our Lives. His film credits include Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky, alongside Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, and Seth MacFarlane, as well as J. Edgar, directed by Clint Eastwood.

In addition to his work as an actor, Tom has developed an extensive career behind the camera as a writer, director, and producer. Most recently, he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the feature thriller The Path, further giving him the unique perspective of understanding the filmmaking process from both sides of the camera.

That combination of experience gives Tom a practical approach to actor training. He understands not only how an actor develops a truthful, compelling performance, but also what directors need from actors on set, how performances translate through the camera, and what it takes to work professionally in today's entertainment industry.

Tom brings decades of professional experience, a filmmaker's perspective, and a working actor's understanding of the craft to his students at Green Room Acting Studio.
