Great stand-up isn’t just about telling jokes — it’s about telling YOUR story.

In Laugh Out Loud, students will learn how to take their true stories, personal experiences, observations, and unique point of view and transform them into original comedy material that connects with an audience.

Clay Miles is a veteran stand-up comedian with more than 30 years of experience entertaining audiences across the country. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Clay brings a distinctive combination of sharp observational humor, quick improvisation, and authentic storytelling to every performance.

Known especially for his crowd work and ability to turn real-life experiences into compelling comedy, Clay has developed a style that feels spontaneous, personal, and relatable. His comedy draws from decades of life experiences, allowing him to connect with audiences while finding the humor in the stories we all share.

Clay is also the host of the Cigar Lounge Comedy Tour, performing at premier cigar lounges and venues throughout the United States and creating an intimate comedy experience built around storytelling, audience interaction, and stand-up.

Whether performing for a packed room or working directly with an audience member in the moment, Clay’s greatest strength is his ability to tell a true story, find the comedy within it, and make the audience feel like they were there.
